These Terms of Service ("Terms") are the agreement between you and Owedify ("we," "us," or "our") when you visit owedify.com or buy and use our digital kits. By using the site or a kit, you agree to these Terms. We have kept them as plain as we can. Please read them.
What Owedify is
Owedify sells digital do-it-yourself kits, web apps and templates that help you write your own letters, understand the rules, and track your own deadlines for things like medical bills, insurance denials, credit-report errors, and similar disputes. Owedify is a tool. We are not a law firm, we are not your lawyer, and we do not act on your behalf. Nothing in a kit is legal, medical, tax, or financial advice.
Your license to use a kit
When you buy a kit, you get a personal, non-transferable license to use it for your own disputes. You can use it as many times as you need, for yourself and your household. You may not resell it, share it, republish it, or hand the files to other people, and you may not copy the content into a competing product.
Payment and delivery
Kits are sold as instant digital downloads through our checkout and marketplace partners (for example Stripe or Etsy). The price is shown before you buy and is a one-time charge, unless a listing clearly says otherwise. What you receive is the download link or file provided after purchase.
Refunds
Because kits are delivered instantly as digital files, refunds are limited. The full details, and the cases where we will make it right, are on our Refund policy page.
Acceptable use
Use the kits for lawful, personal purposes only. Do not use Owedify to break the law, to harass anyone, or to send information you know to be false. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you write and for everything you choose to send.
No professional advice, and no guarantee
The kits explain general rules and common steps for education and self-help. They are not a substitute for advice from a licensed attorney, doctor, tax professional, or financial advisor who knows the details of your situation. Buying or using a kit does not create an attorney-client relationship. Every case is different, so we cannot promise that a dispute, appeal, or letter will succeed, or that you will save a specific amount. Any figures or examples in our materials are illustrations, not promises.
Your information stays on your device
Anything you type into a kit stays on your own device. We do not receive it. You are responsible for saving and backing up your own work. How we handle the limited information we do collect is explained in our Privacy Policy.
Our content and trademarks
Owedify owns the kits, the site, the text, the designs, and the Owedify name and logo. Your license to use a kit does not transfer any of that ownership to you.
The service is provided "as is"
The site and the kits are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. We do not warrant that a kit will be error-free or that it will fit every situation.
Limit on our liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Owedify is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any lost savings or outcomes, arising from your use of the site or a kit. Where our liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the kit.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top of this page. If you keep using the site or a kit after a change, that means you accept the updated Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Owedify operates, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
